The Sword That Never Loses Its Edge
"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." — Ephesians 6:17
The believer does not enter the battlefield unarmed. God has placed in your hands the most powerful weapon that exists: His very own Word. It is not spiritual decoration — it is living steel, sharp enough to cut through illusions, lies, and oppression.
Jesus showed us how to use this sword. When the devil tempted Him in the wilderness, He did not respond with human arguments. He responded with "It is written." Three words. Three strikes. Total victory. That is how we fight.
But a sword kept in its sheath protects no one. The Word needs to be read, memorized, meditated on, and spoken out loud. It needs to live in you before it can come out of you. The better you know it, the more precise the strike against everything that seeks to destroy you.
Your victory today does not depend on your own strength — it depends on how well you know the Word that has already overcome everything.
