The Pure Heart That Sees God
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." — Matthew 5:8
Purity of heart is not moral perfection achieved through our own efforts. It is, rather, an inward disposition of someone who genuinely desires to please God in everything — in hidden thoughts, in the deepest motivations, in the desires that no one else sees.
In a world that celebrates appearance and image, God looks within. He is not impressed by a carefully crafted exterior. What matters to Him is what dwells at the very center of our being. And so, purity begins when we honestly surrender to the Lord what we truly are — including the parts that shame us.
The promise is extraordinary: the pure in heart will see God. Not merely talk about Him, but enjoy a real and transforming intimacy with the Creator. This vision begins even now — in prayer, in the Word, in the quiet moments we share with Him.
Let God cleanse what the world never sees — that is where true life begins.
