The Heart That Sees God
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." — Matthew 5:8
Purity of heart is not the absence of temptation — it is the refusal to let sin rule our inner life. It is choosing, day after day, that Christ occupies the throne of our deepest being, even when the world pushes us in another direction.
A pure heart is not a perfect heart. It is a heart that is honest before God — willing to be examined, corrected, and transformed by grace. David cried out: "Create in me a pure heart" — and that prayer remains the most courageous one we can ever pray.
The promise is extraordinary: the pure in heart will see God. Not merely know about Him — they will see His glory, feel His presence, and live in the kind of intimacy that sin always steals and grace always restores.
Let God cleanse what the world has stained — the most beautiful vision that exists is waiting for you on the other side of that surrender.
