The Day You Cannot Put Off
"Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation." — 2 Corinthians 6:2
Paul doesn't say "tomorrow." He doesn't say "when you're ready." He says now — a word that cuts through time and leaves only two sides: before and after you respond.
God's "today" is not human pressure. It is grace. It is the door standing open while there is still light. Eternity does not announce its arrival — it walks in unannounced. That is why the Spirit always speaks in the present tense: today, now, in this very moment.
Stop. Breathe. Whatever you have been putting off with God — the surrender, the return, the decision — He is waiting for you today. Not tomorrow, when life feels more together. Today, exactly as you are, exactly where you are. Mercy has an opening, but it carries no guarantee of extension.
Today is the most sacred day you have — because it is the only one you truly possess.
